When you are next in the surgery it will look a little different. The reception desk has a permanent screen, with one access point for paperwork, card machine, etc.
The seating area has 3 screens fixed in place. One person either side of the screen, so max 5 people in the waiting room at any one time. Don’t forget, if you have to attend for a face to face appointment, please wear a mask.
For now the door downstairs remains closed.
If you have to attend for an appointment, attend on your own, unless you need assistance, or are under 18. When you arrive, phone reception so that one of the GP’s or Nurses can come down to meet you.
Please DO NOT ENTER unless a member of staff has met you at the door. Do not come in if someone else is going out. This is because we have to control the number of people in the waiting area at anyone time. Unfortunately, this will be the “new normal” for a while.
If you have a face to face appointment, but develop any respiratory symptoms or temperature etc overnight, please do not attend the surgery without speaking to a member of staff first.
