We have seen some comments on other platforms saying GP surgeries are not open. We would like to clarify…

We are open! Monday to Friday call us on 021-4877817

Our GPs will initially do a phone consultation and following this, where necessary, will see you face to face by appointment. All contact is by phone first.

Our door is closed downstairs as under HSE guidelines we are limiting the number of people in the surgery at any one time, but we are open.

if you are asked to attend, you will be met at the door downstairs by the GP/Nurse, asked to wash your hands in the bathroom or we have hand sanitiser in the waiting room. You will then be brought straight to the consultation room.

There will be minimal, if any, face to face contact with anyone else in the surgery.

Please, if you are feeling unwell or have any medical issue you need to discuss with the GP, phone us. If you have no credit in your phone, please email to thegrovemedicalcentre@gmail.com

Do not sit at home unwell, we are OPEN, you’re not “bothering us”, don’t apologise for phoning, we are here to help.

Not everything is covid related and we understand this and want you to know that we don’t want you staying unwell thinking we are not open or that you’re bothering us.

We would love nothing more than to open our doors like they used to be, to see your faces like we used to, we miss that. But for now, we must all follow the guidelines in place and mind each other. We can only mind you if you let us know you are unwell.
